Bailey: Week 21

IMG_9706.jpg IMG_9774.jpgBailey loves to sit up now. She can balance herself with her hands and sit up on her own for a little bit. But, in the end....when it is all said and done....she eventually falls flat on her face. She is getting better and better.

We have an olympic swimmer in the making. Bailey just loves the water. As you know, I am afraid that she will burn out in the sun. We are so lucky to have a wonderful indoor pool and water park just 2 minutes down the road. Bogan Park Pool is awesome. It has an indoor olympic size lap pool, another olympic size pool with a water park, lazy river, and humongous slide. All of this is indoors where Miss Thing cannot get burnt....PERFECT!

Several weeks ago we started Bailey on soldis. So far we have tried: squash, sweet potaotes, green beans, and bannanas. She likes everything except the bannanas so far. We will try the bannanas again later.

Cute pictures! I'd hate to do this to you, b/c I know you're already paranoid, but have you ever thought about the germs and wee-wee that may found at a water park? It makes me cringe to think about it. Emma starts swimming lessons this week-end, so I've but great thought in the "hold your wee-wee" idea. I'm going to let her go w/o "protection" if the rules don't say otherwise at Cal Elite!

What about carrots? Did you try that again?

In Gwinnett they make you wear a swim diap until age 4 just to be sure. They also require that all babies under 2 also wear a plastic liner over the swim diap and under the swim suit. There are germs everywhere. I might as well expose her so that she can build up an immunity. We did try carrots but, will wait until 7 mo or so to try again. That is one that you should wait until 6 mo to introduce. Oh well!
