Santa Visits and Christmas Play Group
Santa Clause visited our neighborhood via firetruck this year. Bailey was very excited about sitting on Santa's lap. And of course, Santa thanked us over and over for letting him hold such a cute little girl. She was absolutely facinated by him. She loved his long white beard. They looked so cute together.
We had our first play group Christmas celebration. It was a lot of fun. Most of the kids dressed in Christmas attire for pictures around the Christmas Tree. You may notice in all the "playgroup" pictures Bailey has her mouth WIDE open. Well, she sang and sang the entire time....hence the open mouth. And it was quite loud. You may notice in several of the pictures, the other kids were wondering what the heck Bailey was singing about. Must be all those Christmas carols we have been practicing. At the end of our playgroup party Bailey was exhausted. I snapped a picture of her passed out in the crib afterwards.
I am busy downloading all of our Christmas pictures. We had a wonderful Christmas and will post the pics soon.

Annual Northcutt Christmas Shindig
We recently had our annual Northcutt Christmas lunch at our house. We had a crowd, but missed one very special person....Gran. Gran was in California visiting Emma and Henry. We did miss her but, she made her famous Rice and Peppers ahead of time so that we would not miss out.
As you can tell by the pictures, Bailey stuck close to her 3rd cousing Alison. Alison carried Bailey everywhere, they danced, and even sat next to eachother for lunch. They became instant pals.
Bailey also enjoyed opening presents. I think she liked the tissue paper the most.
It was a fun time had by all. Can't wait to do this again next year.

Auntie B's 22nd Birthday!!!
Bailey made her first trip to Athens to celebrate Auntie B's 22nd Birthday. We went out to eat and then hung out at Auntie B's place. Papa bought Auntie B a birthday cake but, the cake was too small to fit Boo Boo (Auntie B's nickname) on it that Papa just decided BoBo would be ok. Thought that was mighty funny!
Bailey is eating table food now. She eats ham, turkey, bologna, chicken, green beans, lima beans, corn, peas, carrots, applesauce, fresh pears, grilled cheese sandwich, crackers, cheerios, grits, pancakes, hashbrowns, rice, cookies, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, etc. Her favorites are green beans, ham, and grilled cheese.
Bailey is walking. She is so good at it. And quite proud of herself too. My baby is growing up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bailey is also climbing up onto everything. She uses her toys as steps inorder to get up on the couch. Problem is....she doesn't know how to get down without breaking her neck.
Her vocabulary is still increasing....her new words are gosh, fish, and go. We really have to watch what we say now....right Daddy!
Hope that you enjoy all the pictures. I have lots more to put up so check back soon. Click here to see all the pics.

The Georgia Aquarium---Opening Day
We finally have an aquarium in Georgia. We went with my family (Mom, Dad, Britz, and her boyfriend Matt) on opening day. With over 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water, 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe and over 505,000 sq. ft of total space there was plenty to see. It was crowded but we were able to see everything just fine. We were worried that it would be too much for Bailey but, boy were we wrong. She loved it more than anything!!!! In fact, we all liked it so much that we are buying season passes.
You may notice in several of the pictures that Bailey is touching a shark. They have touch tanks full of horseshoe crabs, sea stars, stingray, shrimp, and sharks. Bailey loved putting her hands in the water and touching everything.
Since it was the grand opening of the aquarium, there were lots of news stations there reporting. Our very own Wes Sarginson of 11alive news held Bailey and interviewed her. Well, not much to interview a baby who can't even talk. But, he sure thought she was a cutie.
Enjoy all of the wonderful pictures of our adventure to the Georgia Aquarium!
