Madison Rose
Madison Rose made a very quick entry into the world on August 14th at 12:47pm. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and was 21 inches long.
Labor was very easy and painless. I started pushing at 12:40 and 4 pushes and 7 minutes later Miss Madison was here.
Because of the quick delivery, Madison's breathing was very fast. She was taking 80 breaths per minute and they wanted her to be between 40-60 breaths per minute. Because of the rapid breathing, Madison was taken to ICU. She stayed there for 2 days. They took great care of her and within 4 hours her breathing was back to normal. They kept her there for the remainder of her hospital stay to make sure she could maintain the proper breathing and to monitor for infections.
We are all home now and doing good. Bailey absolutely loves her little sister. She does not seem to be jealous at all. She loves to help and give Madison lots of kisses. Bailey is also loving all the attention from the Grandparents. My parents stayed the first week to help out....THANKS A MILLION!!!!!! And, now Paul's mom is here helping us out....THANK YOU!!!!!
The second child has definitely been easier. I kinda know what to expect and we just go with the flow. Breast feeding is working wonderfully and we are all just trying to get in a routine. Madison is doing great at night. She already goes 5 hour stretches....thank goodness. I need all the sleep I can get so that I can keep up with Bailey everyday.

She is so beautiful! Congratulations to you all! I also love that picture of Bailey with her baby "kissing" her! That one should be poster size!

She is so cute!!! She has such pretty hair color. Both my girls were bald!! Glad to hear everyone is doing good. Maybe we can all get together soon. I find out Sept. 26 what this fourth baby will be. Congrats to everyone, especially big sister Bailey. Keep in touch.

What is going on? I have been looking for new pictures of Madison forever!!! Have you guys retired the website? Send me some pics--I bet she is so big now. Hope all is well, talk to you soon!!
