Potty Trained

<img alt="IMG_5881.jpg align="right" " src="http://www.northcuttclan.com/IMG_5881.jpg" width="400" height="629" />
Bailey is Potty Trained. She pretty much did it all on her own. I never have to ask her if she has to go, she just stops whatever she is doing and goes to the potty all by herself. It is amazing how fast she caught on. So, she now wears her princess panties and dora panties and no more diapers!!! Yay!

Easter, feeding, painted toes, friends, tennis, buffalo and more

To see more pictures of the girls, click the black and white picture of them on the right of your screen!

This set of photos begins in Early April and goes back to Mid Feb. As you can tell by ALL the pictures we have been busy. Madison is almost 8 months old. She is crawling a little and can already get into a sitting position by herself. She is starting to pull up on things too. Bailey is growing like a weed. She has started to feed her little sister baby food. She is really good at it. Doesnt spill a thing and even keeps madisons face clean.

We had a wonderful Easter. Like Thanksgiving, we had a crowd. We had my parents, pauls parents, my sister and her boyfriend and our neighbor Bridgett. The company and food was fantastic. Bailey enjoyed dying and decorating eggs with my parents. And both sets of grandparents were there for the fun easter egg hunt!

Bailey had her second haircut this weekend. This time my mom did it for her. We cut off all the split ends and straightened the back up a bit.

As you can probably tell by ALL the tennis pictures....Bailey loves tennis like her Mommy and Daddy. She is really good at serving the ball. And even more adorable in her tennis get-up.

We are so lucky to have moved into such a great neighborhood. And even more lucky to have fantastic neighbors with kids that Bailey and Madison play with EVERY day. Our backyard is the local hangout. Most afternoons you will find 10 or so kids running around playing. It is perfect. There are lots of pics of Baileys best bud Big Bailey. They love playing house and even taking baths together.

Grandpa Northcutt finally fulfilled one of his dreams. He is now the proud owner of 5 buffalo. Daddy and Bailey went the day he got the buffalo to check it all out. I think Bailey was fascinated to say the least. Everytime she talks to Grandpa she asks where the buffalo are. Very cool!

Our nextdoor neighbor Bridgett, got a new puppy. Bailey thinks it is her dog. She walks it everyday and Fluffy even comes and plays in our yard most afternoons. You should hear Bailey boss this dog around. It is quite funny!

We had a safety fair in our neighborhood a couple weeks ago. The firemen brought the new firetruck for all the kids to see and sit in. Bailey loved sitting in the huge seats. She also loved her first try of cotton candy. She ate every bit of it!

Click here to see ALL the pics

We are alive.....can you believe it?!?!?

Well....it has been a while....eh? With two children under the age of two years, I have had a hard time posting pictures.

Madison is now 5 1/2 months old. She can say Dada, rolls over, is starting to push up onto her knees....wont be long before she starts to crawl. She is a very happy baby, smiling ALL the time. Right now she is eating solid foods....like Bailey, she loves sweet potatoes and squash. She is beginning to learn how to hold a sippie cup as well. We are so blessed to have such a cutie in our lives.

Bailey is now 2 years old. She amazes us everyday with her large vocabulary. She strings together 3 and 4 sentences at a time. She loves to sing and dance. Infact, her best friend next door, we call her Big Bailey (her name is Bailey too), is teaching her a Cheetah Girls songs and dance. Bailey likes to refer to them as Cheetoh Girls. Bailey is getting very good at going to the potty. She does both 1 and 2. We are trying to be consistent with that. Bailey can also put her shoes on all by herself and she is learning how to dress herself. Bailey is obsessed with Flip Flops, sunglasses, and of course tennis. She is definately a bright and happy child too. She makes us laugh every day!

Paul and I are just taking it one day at a time.....resting and relaxing the few chances we get. We love our new house....especially the basement.

Click here to see the new pics of Bailey and Mad.

Madison Rose

Madison Rose made a very quick entry into the world on August 14th at 12:47pm. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Labor was very easy and painless. I started pushing at 12:40 and 4 pushes and 7 minutes later Miss Madison was here.

Because of the quick delivery, Madison's breathing was very fast. She was taking 80 breaths per minute and they wanted her to be between 40-60 breaths per minute. Because of the rapid breathing, Madison was taken to ICU. She stayed there for 2 days. They took great care of her and within 4 hours her breathing was back to normal. They kept her there for the remainder of her hospital stay to make sure she could maintain the proper breathing and to monitor for infections.

We are all home now and doing good. Bailey absolutely loves her little sister. She does not seem to be jealous at all. She loves to help and give Madison lots of kisses. Bailey is also loving all the attention from the Grandparents. My parents stayed the first week to help out....THANKS A MILLION!!!!!! And, now Paul's mom is here helping us out....THANK YOU!!!!!

The second child has definitely been easier. I kinda know what to expect and we just go with the flow. Breast feeding is working wonderfully and we are all just trying to get in a routine. Madison is doing great at night. She already goes 5 hour stretches....thank goodness. I need all the sleep I can get so that I can keep up with Bailey everyday.

Here are the pics of my lovely girls!!!

The ONLY child.....for now!

Well, I think this is Bailey's last post before she becomes a Big Sister. I thought I better catch up to date on pics. It may be a little harder to find time to post after the new baby comes. Speaking of baby...I am set to go to the hospital on Sunday to be induced. If all goes as planned, we should have our new little girl sometime Monday afternoon.

The pictures posted start in June and go through this weekend. Bailey has grown up a lot over the past 2 months. She is working on going pee pee in a potty. She is doing well with that. She talks more than ever. In fact, the ladies at the doctor's office call her the incredible talking baby. Nobody can believe how well she speaks. The child speaks in full sentences, asks questions, tells people what to do, etc. It is quite scarry sometimes.

My best friend Alison from middle school came with her boyfriend Alex to visit over the 4th of July. Bailey had so much fun playing with them. Thanks for visiting. Come again soon.

You may notice at the end that Bailey has some new toys. Mommy is a shopaholic....and we found some good bargains lately. Now that the basement is finished, we have more room for toys. Bailey is loving her new playhouse and kitchen. Thanks Gran for the kitchen.

Bailey is a true water baby. She loves to go swimming. We go at least once sometimes twice a day. Our new pool rocks. There is a baby pool with a mushroom that pours water on you and then a humongous swimming pool. Bailey wears water wings and just jumps in. She lays on her tummy and blows bubbles and kicks to wherever she needs to go. She also loves it when we throw her in the air and let her fall in the pool and go under water. Dont worry Gran.....her floaties bring her back up. She begs for more.

Enough talk....click here to see all the pictures.

Our New House

We have finally moved into our new house. We absolutely love it. Lots more room for me and Bailey to fill with stuff. It has already gotten so full that we had to finish the basement. That should be done in the next 2 weeks.

So, for those of you that want to know....here is the low down on the new house. It is a 5 bedroom 4 bath house. With the basement finished it will be a 7 bedroom 5 bath. I know what you are thinking.....how many more kids.....NONE! Just lots of toys and JUNK as Paul would say.

I really like my new kitchen, as you can probably tell by the millions of pics of it. Paul loves his yard. Lots more than the other house. He likes to mow and plant stuff.

The picture with the rug and no furniture is our family room. Paul took that the day we closed so, the couches had not been moved in. We don't sit on the floor anymore.

So, we have room for visitors. Please come visit us and the new baby due in several weeks.

Click here to see the pics of our new house.

Bailey goes PeePee in the Potty!!!!!!!!!!!

Wooooo Hooooo!!!! We have a big girl on our hands. For the past 2 weeks Bailey has been telling us right before she pee's or poop's. It goes something like this..... "Mommy, I go poo poo. Or, Mommy, I go pee pee." She has been sitting on the potty but, nothing has come out. She pushes and tries but, nothing until TODAY.

Today, Bailey told Daddy that she had to go pee pee. Daddy took her to the potty and gave her a neighborhood newsletter to read....how exciting. In no time, she was peeing on the potty. She was so proud of herself. We cheered and clapped. Paul gave her the toilet paper to wipe with and Bailey thought it was for her mouth. She started wiping her mouth. Paul told her it was to wipe her pee pee and she did it like a big girl. Wow, she is growing up so quickly.

Click here to see pics of Bailey's first ever pee pee in the potty.

Bailey Spends the Night at MeMe and Papa's!!!

Well.....I finally let Bailey spend the night away from Mommy and Daddy. I knew it was about time to share her with others. So, after much begging, much child-proofing, and many tears I let her spend the weekend with her beloved MeMe and Papa (Jessica's parents).

Mommy cried when it was time to leave her but, Miss Bailey just smiled and said "bye Mommy, love you." "See ya Daddy, love you."

She had so much fun. She swam, played on the playground, went to a tennis match, learned how to play tennis, rode her tricycle, rode the tractor with Papa, played with Cisco the dog, played with her pretend kitchen that was Mommy's growing up, played in the sprinkler and even slept in her own crib ALL night long. What a big girl.

Mommy and Daddy were able to get a lot done in 3 days. We dropped her off Friday and picked her back up Sunday afternoon. Alot of boxes and decorating were done at the new house. We missed her dearly, but it is amazing how much we finished while she was gone.

Enjoy the pictures of her weekend at MeMe and Papa's house. Click here to see all the pics.

So, you can see how much Bailey has grown in 2 months or so. ALSO, BELOW THIS ENTRY IS ANOTHER ENTRY THAT HAS ALL OUR EASTER PICTURES IN IT. SO MAKE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN ON THE MAIN PAGE OF THE WEBSITE TO SEE THOSE PICTURES!!

Developmentally she is doing great. She can say ANYTHING you ask her to. She can speak in sentences. She puts 4 and 5 words together. When it is time to go look at the new house at night she says, "C'mon Daddy! Let's go! Hurry Daddy." She is also a very polite little girl. She says "Please and even Thank-You!"

The other day I was talking on the phone to Paul's Mom (Gran). I was telling her about the house and other stuff and said, "Blah, Blah, Blah." I didn't think Bailey was even listening. Next thing I know she says, "Blah, Blah, Blah." It was so funny.

Bailey no longer takes a bath. She absolutely loves loves loves to take showers. She likes the water pouring down her face. She just has the best time in the shower. It sure is easier than leaning over the tub for prego Mommy!!!

You may notice in the pictures that Bailey has several new toys. Mommy can't ever tell her no. She has a new lawnmower, a climbing gym and outdoor slide, a vaccum, strollers, and best of all her very first JEEP. Yes, she can already drive. She is such a princess in her new Barbie Jeep.

Things may be slow on the website for a while. We move in our new house Saturday morning. Pictures of that to come.

Enough talk, enjoy all the pictures. Click here to see the pics.

Here are some pics of the 3 easter egg hunts Bailey did this year. She had one at playgroup, one in the neighborhood, and one at MeMe and Papa's. She really enjoyed opening the eggs. Her favorite eggs were filled with Goldfish crackers. MeMe and Papa made her a special gift for Easter....her very first bracelets made out of pearls they bought in Hawaii years ago. Thanks...love you. Click here to see the pics.

Another good reson this time....we sold our house. So, we will be moving into a rental up the street until our new house is complete in 2 months. It has been a lot of work building a house. A lot of decisions to make. But, I am sure in the end, we will be so happy. Hopefull we will be in the new house by June 1st. Everyone is welcome....we will have plenty of room for visitors.

As you can probably tell these pictures go from the middle of Feb up to today. So you have a months span of pics.

Miss Bailey had a big first. She spent the night away from home without Mommy or Daddy. She stayed one night at Meme and Papa's all by herself. What a big girl. Jessica's parents (MeMe and Papa) gladly took excellent care of Bailey. She had a blast and Mommy actually slept without worrying too much about her. I did worry a little but, she was just fine.

Bailey's best friend, Victoria, also makes another appearance on the website. Bailey and Victoria play together every single day. We go to eachothers houses, to the park to swing, on walks, story time, shoping, ect. They really love eachother. They also like to push eachother around in strollers and other various toys. We are lucky to have such great friends.

Enough talk.....enjoy all the pics. Click here to see all the pics.

Bailey's 1st Ever Birthday

We celebrated Bailey's birthday with lots of friends and family. And, as usual, Bailey was friendly and loved on EVERYBODY. She just loves everyone holding and kissing all over her. She has no concept of separation anixiety....never has and probably never will.

As you can tell everyone, especially Bailey had a good time. We all enjoyed watching Bailey dive into her first cake. She had a lot of icing and that night she spit most of it up. I don't think she has ever had that much butter or sugar!

There are tons of pics. I had a hard time eleminating any. Enjoy the pics.

Bailey's Vocabulary

Bailey has a humongous vocabulary. She can even speak sentences. When she wakes up in the morning she says, "Dadda where you at?" When Paul leaves in the morning she says, "Where he go?" She goes to our back door and looks out at the dog (Foster) next door and says, "Boster, where are you?" One morning Paul went into the bathroom downstairs and Bailey said, "Dadda poo-poo." She loves to play with Paul's cell phone in the car. If you were to look back at her she would have the phone held perfectly to her ear and she would be saying, "Hi Papa, Hi Dadda!" (Papa is my father) In the morning when Paul leaves for work she says, "Bye Dadda."

Some of her new words are: Victoria (Toria- her best friend), diaper, cracker, tiger, Grandpa (Paw-Paw), B (for Auntie B), whats up, bath, etc. So, as you can see we really have to watch what we say these days. It is amazing how fast she picks up new words.
